Duxford Flyers are a group of Private pilots flying from their home base in Cambridgeshire. The group fly a Piper Archer III and as well as exploring the many airfields in the UK occasionally make trips to the European mainland.

One of our recent trips took four of the members to Lubeck in Northern Germany. The trip was the result of a meeting with two pilots from Lubeck who had been visiting Duxford a few months before. The Picture Gallery is a record of our visit.
Our route took us across the channel to Ostend in Belgium for a comfort stop and a crew change. Next we flew North East to Lelystad in Holland, this time the stop was for Lunch and refueling. The final leg took us to Lubeck flying overhead Launbruck and Hamburg

For the return leg we decide to route via Osnabruck (Lunch Stop) and on to Antwerp for an overnight stop. Next day it was back home to our home airfield.
